New Orleans
Our first visit in about 20 years. Wish we had had more time to explore. I was in the SHRM conference most of the time, but Shelly managed to get to the WWII museum which he just lvoed. One night we ventured out to Frenchmen Street, three streetcars away from Upper Garden District where we stayed. We ate at the Three Muses, which had been recommended. What fun: I love tapas and the shrimp were incredible. Nice band but actually the band in the restaurant down the street

TURN ON THE RADIO!
You never know who'll be on it. Like me, for instance. This morning Pat Rullo in Ohio interviewed me for Speak Up Talk Radio. I had no guidance on how to prepare and decided to just wing it. I'm pleased with how it came out and am beginning to hope that I'm actually getting better at public speaking. Can't wait

Remiss
I've been neglecting my blog of late. Time to catch up. Dream Job has garnered two awards - that can't be bad. Hoping to see if that fact attracts more readers. Seriously thinking of doing an audiotape as I hear they are "flying off the metaphorical shelves." It seems like a lot of work though - finding the reader, auditioning, figuring out how to distribute and publicize. Oy! Very excited to state that I have a rough draft of 60,000 words on my second novel, tentatively c
