I was fortunate enough to have a 30 year career in Human Resources that took me from the world of Wine&Spirits through the heavy Manufacturing of pasta equipment with a brief stopover in Mortgage Banking, a lengthy stay in HealthCare, landing me finally in Continuing Legal Education these last 15 years.

During that time, I managed a secondary career as a freelance journalist/author with a specialty in career and business topics. My work appeared in the Wall Street Journal, National Business Employment Weekly, Managing Your Career, The New York Times, New York Post/CareerPlus Section, Journal of Career Planning and Employment, Careers and the Disabled, Diversity Magazine, Jewish Week, Woman's Own, Women's News, Working Mother Magazine, Long Island Boating World (!), Westchester Wag, and others. My articles also appeared in online magazines such as careermag.com, careers.wsj.com, college.wsj.com . My first book, I Need a Job, Now What? (Silver Lining Books) was published in January 2001 and was reissued in print and audiotape in 2003 as Getting a Job (Barnes and Noble Basics).

For the last ten years, I have been reviewing books for NeworldReview.com.

My movie reviews have appeared in (now defunct) seniorfilmfiles and stageandcinema.com, where my review of the Counterfeiters earned me a place as finalist in reviewing contest.
